Helen Doring: Chief Executive
HelenDoring is one of the most respected figures in food consultancy today. Based in our Berlin office, she has advised many major food, ingredients and packaging players over the past 15 years.
She has developed a particular area of expertise in the foodservice sector and assisted many international food and drink companies with opportunity identification, evaluation and market development strategies. She has built an extensive knowledge and contact base in this sector.
Her breadth of experience has also covered many market, acquisition and development studies in central and eastern Europe.
Helen is fluent in English, German and Russian.
John Jones: President
John Jones is a leading strategic consultant specialising in international food and drink. He has worked for many of the world’s leading players in these industries as well as trade, Government and international bodies. In a twenty-five year consultancy career he has undertaken projects in well over thirty countries. He is a leading speaker on strategy, addressing international conferences in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia; and appearing on television and radio in the UK, USA, Russia and Australia.
He regularly presents and facilitates at corporate seminars and workshops.
He was the founder and for twelve years the Chief Executive of the market and business strategy consultancy Promar International, an organisation with offices in the UK, Belgium, USA, Mexico, Japan and China. He built it into an international business with a blue chip client base, employing over 60 consultants in six countries.
Ian Lyle: Commercial Director
Ian Lyle has worked in senior position for a number of leading food and drink companies. He was also for 9 years the Managing Director of an international personal care company, building it into a £100 million brand. He has been a visiting professor of marketing in USA and worked on branding and distribution projects throughout the world.
Over the past decade he has advised major food and drink companies and their suppliers as well diverse players in the food and drink chain-ranging from global players to one of Europe’s most famous celebrity chefs.
Ian has a specialist knowledge that has enabled him to advise banks and institutional investors in acquisition studies and turnaround situations. Consequently, he retains a specific focus on the profit and cash impact of any strategy we recommend
